These are the house rules for using Zonez at zonez.net. They describe how the product actually works. They are not a substitute for the law where you live, and they do not invent a company name, governing court, or billing entity that is not published elsewhere on this site.

THE SERVICE

Zonez is a community of Zones (rooms) with threads, live chat, a WORLD feed, MARKET listings, fan REVIEWS, a radar, 24-hour Beacons, a Zone directory, DMs, XP, and ranks. You may browse anonymously or register. The operator of zonez.net hosts the site on Cloudflare and may change, pause, or take down features.

ACCOUNTS

Registration asks for a username, email, and password. Passwords are hashed; they are not stored in a form anyone here can read. Login works with username or email. Email verify and password-reset links are one-time and expire. Wrong password and unknown user return the same error so the login form cannot be used to probe who has an account. The same symmetry applies to password-reset requests.

You are responsible for what is posted from your account. Do not create an account for a child. Zonez is not directed at children under 13. Adult Zones require you to confirm you are 18+ before the content is shown; the confirm is the gate, not a decoration.

POSTS, CHAT, LISTINGS, REVIEWS

Threads, replies, chat, Beacons, DMs, listings, and reviews you submit are stored so other people in those rooms can see them. Anonymous posts are stored without an author id. Listings are user posts, not a checkout — there is no payment processor on zonez.net. Reviews are fan scores (1–10); there are no critic scores.

Do not post illegal content, spam, or harassment. Tag NSFW when the room or the post calls for it. Zone owners may set rules and flairs for their Zone; those sit next to these site-wide rules, they do not replace them.

REPORTS AND REMOVAL

Anyone can report a thread, reply, message, user, Zone, listing, or review for: Spam, Harassment, NSFW — not tagged, Misinformation, Illegal content, or Other. The operator can remove content, close an account, or refuse a Zone that breaks these rules. SIGNAL is the channel for bugs, ideas, and other contact that is not a content report.

XP AND RANKS

XP and rank (Lurker through Legend) are computed on the server, not typed in by the client. Awards cost the giver XP and grant the recipient XP. Do not try to fake those numbers in the browser; the display follows what the server stored.

ADS

Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-6396285394716461) is used only on crawlable public pages that already have this kind of written copy — About, Contact, Terms, and Privacy. The login, register, lobby, chat, menus, loading, and error screens in the app do not load the AdSense script and do not reserve ad boxes. Auto ads for this site should stay off so units cannot appear on those app screens.

NO WARRANTY

The site is provided as it stands. Rooms can be empty. Features that still talk to a local simulation instead of a hosted API will not show the same posts in two browsers. That is a current limit of the product, not a promise that every surface is already a live network.
